Track 01: Hepatitis B

Hepatitis B is a liver infection initiated by the Hepatitis B virus (HBV). HBV is transmitted through activities that involve percutaneous or mucosal contact with infectious blood or body fluids. HBV can survive outside the body for at least 7 days and still be having the capable of causing infection. The best way to stop hepatitis B is by getting the hepatitis B vaccine. The pathogenesis and clinical display of hepatitis B are due to the interaction of the virus and the host immune system, which lead to liver injury and potentially cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. Patients can have either an acute symptomatic disease or an asymptomatic disease.

Track 02: Hepatitis C

Hepatitis C is a devastating viral disease that generally progresses slowly, meaning patients often remain asymptomatic and unaware they are infected until very serious and often expensive complications emerge as a result of damage to the liver. It is estimated that about half of those infected are not aware that they carry the virus. The latest remarkable advances in treating hepatitis C built on incremental improvements achieved over the previous two decades to transform hepatitis C from a chronic, fatal disease, to an infection that with new and approaching treatments, can be potentially cured.

Track 03: Hepatitis A,D&E

Hepatitis A is an acute infection of the liver caused by the hepatitis A virus. Vaccination against hepatitis A is available. Hepatitis D is a liver disease caused by the hepatitis D virus, (also called delta virus) a defective virus that needs the hepatitis B virus to exist. Infection with hepatitis D can be prevented by hepatitis B vaccine. Hepatitis E is an acute illness but does not cause a chronic infection. It is transmitted via the faecal-oral route and can be spread by eating or drinking contaminated food or water.

Track 04: Liver Diseases

Liver is responsible for various critical functions within the body. It helps your body to digest food, store energy, and removes the poisons. If it becomes diseased or injured, the loss of those functions can cause significant damage to the body. Producing bile and removing toxins are the important roles played by the liver. There are several forms of liver disease that affect men, women and children.

Track 05: Liver transplant and Surgery

Liver transplantation surgery is to replace a diseased or injured liver with a healthy liver delivered from a healthy person. The liver is involved in various metabolic functioning including metabolism of drugs and toxins, removing degradation products of normal body metabolism (for example clearance of ammonia and bilirubin from the blood), and synthesis of many important proteins and enzymes. Doctors suggest liver transplant surgery to the patients who suffer from severe Drug-induced liver injury (DILI) or Chronic liver failure. This surgery carries a risk of alternative complications including infection, liver inflammation, blood clots, liver rejection, memory and thinking problems.

Track 08: Gastrointestinal surgery

Gastrointestinal surgery is divided into upper GI surgery and lower GI surgery. Upper GI Surgery includes surgery for gastro-oesophageal reflux, Gall bladder disease, Hernias, other benign oesophageal and gastric disorders, other benign pancreatic and hepatobiliary disorders. Lower gastrointestinal surgery includes colorectal surgery and surgery of the small intestine.
Laparoscope is a fiber-optic gadget that transmits pictures from internal part of the body to a video screen when embedded in the stomach divider.

Track 09: Pancreatic Disorder

Pancreas will produces juices which helps to break down food and hormones that  control blood sugar levels. Problems with the pancreas can lead to many health problems like pancreatitis, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency and pancreatic cancer.
The pancreas additionally assumes a part in diabetes. In type 1 diabetes, the beta cells of the pancreas never again make insulin in light of the fact that the body's resistant framework has assaulted them. In type 2 diabetes, the pancreas loses the capacity to emit enough insulin.

Track 10: Non-Viral Hepatitis

Non-viral hepatitis is an infection of the liver caused by toxins, drugs, or other harmful chemicals that destroy cells in the liver (Hepatocytes).  Acute hepatitis damages hepatocytes make up 70-85% of the whole mass of the liver. The disease is a emerging problem due to the increasing number of dietary supplements with liver side effects. If hepatitis leads to liver failure, a liver transplant is the only treatment option that can improve survival.

Track 11: Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Hepatocellular carcinoma accounts for most liver cancers. This type of liver cancer occurs more often in men than women and is usually seen in people age 50 or older. It is commonly associated with cirrhosis and hepatitis. The incidence of hepatocellular carcinoma is highest in USA, Asia and Africa, where the endemic high prevalence of hepatitis B and hepatitis C strongly disposes to the development of chronic liver disease and hepatocellular carcinoma. Other risk factors can include a history of alcohol abuse.
